Teddy’s Place – Booking Terms & Conditions

By placing a booking, you agree to the following terms. Please read carefully.


1. Booking Duration & Timing

  • Your booking starts and ends at the exact times you’ve booked—this includes setup and pack down.

  • Early access is not permitted, and you may not enter the space before your scheduled time.

  • If you run over your time, you have a 15-minute grace period. After that, you will be charged for a full additional hour at our standard hourly rate.


2. Dry Hire Terms

  • Teddy’s Place is a dry hire studio by default. That means no crew, assistants, or setup help is included unless specifically booked.

  • If you need support during your session, you can add a Lighting Assistant or Studio Assistant as an optional extra when booking.


3. Respect the Space

  • You are responsible for looking after the studio and any equipment you use.

  • Please treat the space with care and leave it in the condition you found it.

  • Bins are provided, but if they’re full, please take excess rubbish with you.

  • Any damage, mess, or misuse may result in additional charges for cleaning, repair, or replacement.


4. Equipment Use

  • You may use the studio equipment provided, but you are responsible for operating it safely and appropriately.

  • If you notice any issues with equipment before or during your shoot, let us know immediately to avoid being held liable.


5. Equipment Hire

  • The studio is dry hire only—equipment is not included in the base booking unless clearly stated.

  • Lighting kits, backdrops, props, and other gear must be booked in advance as optional extras.

  • If you use any equipment during your session without booking it, you may be charged the standard hire fee after your booking.

  • Please do not assume gear is free to use just because it’s in the space—if in doubt, ask.


6. Liability & Indemnity

  • You agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless Teddy’s Place Ltd, its staff, and representatives from any liability for injury, loss, damage, or death occurring during your booking.

  • This applies to yourself, your team, your clients, and anyone attending the shoot.

  • You are fully responsible for the safety and behaviour of all individuals using the space under your booking.


7. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Cancellations must be made at least 72 hours before your booking.

  • A 20% holding fee will be deducted from any refunds.

  • Cancellations made within 72 hours are non-refundable, unless under exceptional circumstances (at our discretion).

Rescheduling:

  • You may reschedule once for free, provided it’s more than 72 hours in advance.

  • Additional reschedules or changes with less than 72 hours’ notice will be treated as cancellations and non-refundable.

  • All reschedules are subject to availability and must be confirmed in writing.


8. Insurance (Recommended)

  • While not mandatory, we strongly recommend having your own public liability and equipment insurance in place—especially for larger productions or if working with clients, models, or third-party crew.

  • Teddy’s Place is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal items.


9. Pets, Animals & Hazardous Materials

  • No animals, pets, or hazardous materials are permitted in the studio without prior written approval.

  • Please contact us in advance if you are planning to bring anything outside the usual scope of a studio shoot.
